The imagination of 10 m2 space
在1993年拆掉老房子後，這三坪空間一直受限制地使用著，賣過東海岸玉石，檳榔，炸雞排之類的，僅用台灣最熟悉的鐵皮，簡單圍出土地使用權範圍。
去年回台東後，花了半年構思，幾個月請人設計，施工，打破限制，希望展現屬於我的空間，與大家分享對世界的態度。
After the original house was torn down in 1993, this 10 square meters space has been limited used.
It was a shop that sold stones, betel nuts and street food.
After 6 months planning and hiring designer to help renovation, I wish this is the space to present “me” and my attitude to the world.
Solo Studio Taitung 的迷你空間，一次也只能接待一組客人，給來訪的客人一個專屬的VIP咖啡廳!

Before and After
1960年的台東市中華路與中正路口，是外公的金玉山銀樓
當年還兼賣愛國獎券，中特獎都會在門口合照。
因為中正路拓寬，拆除了大部分房屋結構，只剩下角落畸零空間，
勉強找個相近的角度拍照。
The location of Solo Studio Taitung used to be my grandpa’s goldsmiths shop. He was also lottery seller at the time.
The picture was taken in Oct. 1960 when the lottery winner’s ticket was sold by our shop.
Due to city development plan, most structure of the house was torn down in 1990s.

Small Space with Travel attitude in Taitung city, Taiwan
一個曾經是台東市黃金地段的店面，是我外公家! 因為中正路拓寬而拆了只剩下一塊畸零地，小小的只能容下一個人的工作室，Solo Studio， 就這樣命名了。屬於我自己的專屬空間，同時還可以分享旅行，語言教學，還有咖啡的工作室，集合了我過去在歐洲生活數年，到處旅行的照片，計畫以不同主題分批與大家分享，開幕展:[歐洲的銀白雪世界]，集合阿爾卑斯山滑雪，冬天的北歐永夜北極圈，還有昔日奧匈帝國歷史城市薩爾斯堡與布達佩斯的照片，與大家分享!歡迎來聊聊!
A small corner space in the centre of Taitung city, Taiwan, used to be my grandpa's Goldsmith shop.
"Solo Studio Taitung" as I name it because it is too small that can only accommodate 1 person working space. Interior is decorated with my personal travel photos, most footprints are in Europe.
Solo travelers are welcomed to stop by this little studio and I would like to share my travel experience and attitude with you.
